Spring Has Arrived

Nothing beats this country in early summer when everything still looks so lush and green and the days are hot and sunny. In those moments you know you put up with the cold, wet and dreary months in order to be able to truly appreciate how lovely England can be.

I love colour and summer is enchanting in its colour, a never-ending delight of bright yellow rape, perfect pink peonies and a thousand varieties of green.

I think all the seasons have their merits and their beauty but I always look forward to summer most of all. Whether its memories of childhood and how exciting the beginning of the wonderful summer holidays stretching out before me was, the fact that the days are long and luxurious or whether its just that summer always seems to be so much fun.

Entertaining is high on our priority list here at Blueblack & Red and all our table linen truly accentuates a beautifully laid table – whatever the occasion.

Coming soon we also have some wonderfully original vases to display an array of hand cut flowers; they make fantastic table centerpieces or a contemporary windowsill display.
